He will explain the various terms used to describe Irish land jurisdictions and identify the major record sets – as well as how to use them. And he will provide a set of specific search strategies. From parish registers to vital records, census substitutes to court cases, Irish newspapers and even DNA testing – they will all be covered along with examples. This talk will also include a detailed handout with sources, locations and website addresses.
